I have built a great team around super talented people.With collaboration and smart decisions we have created a stack that can scale to millions of daily active players, globally.This scale is built on top clear engineering principles, reliability, testing automation, and simplicity. In particular the latter is what allows a small team of few software engineers to manage a huge player base with low cognive load.Everything is build iterations and the process is agile.On the sofware side, I have dedicated a lot of focus on performance and scalabilty following the "measure first, act after" strategy. Our core libraries have 100% test coverage and all the sofware is constantly load tested.On the team side, I have created the space and the right environment for collaboration within the team and with everybody in the company. I put in place many feedback loop around the process (retrospective, health check, etc..) and the interaction between people. I encourage the team to explore new ways of working together with the respect of everybody's preferences.On the management side, I used management tools based on feedback, delegation, 1:1, coaching and mentoring. I followed the principle of servant leadership.On the strategic side, I studied success cases and take inspiration from what the industry can offer.
