Gregory Petrino
I have known Alessandro from 13 years now. I was responsible for Finance for the Miami office, both Travel Retail and Latin America, and reported to Alessandro on a 'dotted-line', as he was responsible for Finance in EMEA and for Fragrances worldwide. Alessandro is a great leader; pragmatic, intuitive, diligent and extremely honest, in fact, he is one of the most honest people I have ever met. If I ever needed a straight answer and really needed to know 'what was going on', he was the person I went to. He always had an open door and if for some reason he was not, as on many occasions he was not available as he was always being pulled in ten different directions, he would get back to me immediately as soon as he was. His staff loved him, as did his superiors and colleagues; he was a huge asset to the organization. As if this weren't enough, he is one of the funnier guys you'll ever meet, always offering invaluable anecdotes and takes on various situations. I highly recommend Alessandro for a CFO role; he is a rare breed these days and would be a tremendous asset to any organization.
