  • Projects and assesses the project risk and elaborates annual plan for the (physical and financial) monitoring of the projects which are being implemented within the IPA, prepares operational work plans, implements and monitors the approved plans; • Monitors the implementation of the projects and the measures in accordance with the procurement rules, the concluded contracts and the defined plans, performs an ex-ante evaluation of the end user procurements, monitors and updates the indicators of the individual projects and undertakes additional activities for the monitoring of the projects, as well as for the monitoring over the compliance with the European rules; • Conducts controls over the project implementation, performs quality and content assessments regarding the reports on the monitoring, provides proposals on corrective measures, provides and verifies the technical documentation, prepares reports regarding the conducted controls; • Monitors any possible or identified irregularities in the course of the project implementation; • Member of the Evaluation Committees for selection of project implementation body/twinning partners in projects funded under IPA Components I and IV.
