Worked within the Systems Development team to develop new and improve on existing software applications, including C#.NET/JavaScript web apps, standalone iOS apps, programming surface automation routines, developing SQL stored procedures, Dynamic SQL queries and more.In charge of working on individual projects as well as contributing to various small and large group projects, some involving collaboration with other IT teams and liaising with other clinical and non-clinical departments. Worked with clinical staff such as nurses and consultants to discuss requirements and specification of new clinical applications, including an iOS app developed by myself and a colleague, used to assist the process of calculating blood transfusion units safely.Worked on developing a range of internal responsive web applications such as an internal hospital phonebook app, an independent library app organising a variety of clinical guides and policies, and various prototypes such as a hospital map with user navigation. This required working with HTML/CSS, C#, jQuery/AJAX, SQL and tools such as Photoshop and Inkscape. Involved in programming automated tasks using robotic process automation software - Blue Prism and programming languages such as C++. These automatic routines were designed to interact with clinical systems, extract and manipulate relevant patient data and handle it between different systems within the Trust to complete the required task.
