I worked as part of a team of sound engineers. We managed the recording sessions for professional music projects of different genres such as jazz, rock, classical, pop and film scoring. After the tracking session I would also d editing, quantizing, and voice tuning in order to get the tracks ready for mixing. I got to constantly use some of the most iconic golden-age, high end microphones (Neumann U89, Neumann U87, Neumman U47 FET, AKG 414, AKG C12, Telefunken AK-47, Telefunken AR-51, Sennheiser MD421, Coles 4028, Neumann KM184, Cascade Fat Head, etc.) in accordance to a variety of acoustic environments to achieve the perfect sound for the particular style of every project. I operated a Solid State Logic SSL6000E console to and the DAW (Pro Tools and Logic) to make the recording session a very comfortable experience for the musician. The recording process had to be done taking in count the musician-to-musician interaction and time available for every session. The client told us their needs and we would come up with the best way to achieve the results. The ultimate goal was create a great experience for the client, so they didn't get distracted by any technical issues and could focus solely on the music and having a great time while achieving a high quality recording.
