      • Jul 2020 - Jun 2023

I am currently working at CNB in the lab leading by Dr. Luis Enjuanes Sánchez. I am working on SARS-CoV-2 Vaccine developement and also analysing the immune respone generated in immunized mice. • Postdoctoral Researcher in atherosclerosis
      • Feb 2019 - Jul 2020

On the 1st of February 2019, I joined the lab of Dr. Almudena Rodriguez Ramiro as postdoctoral researcher at CNIC and some months later I was awarded a JDCi scholarship to carry out a challenging project studying the antigenic triggers of the antibody immune response during atherosclerosis and their impact in the progression of the disease (Nature publication). During this period of time I have been characterizing the immune response (cellular and antibody response) in mouse models after immunization with specific antigens using cytometry and ELISA techniques. • Sep 2015 - Dec 2017

I remained as a postdoc in the same lab where I got my PhD for two years and three months, resulting in 4 scientific publications, 3 as first author. In this period, I worked to define the role of ERAP2 in the HLA-B*27:05 and HLA-A*29:02-bound peptidome in the latter case, using lentiviral particules to create knockin cell lines. • Ph. D In immunology/Proteomics
      • Sep 2009 - May 2015

I got my Ph.D. in molecular and cell biology in 2015 in the lab of Professor Jose Antonio López de Castro at the CBMSO (Madrid, Spain), working in the field of autoimmune diseases strongly associated with MHC-I genes. Before joining Dr. Lopez de Castro’s lab, I was awarded a scholarship in the frame of the Leonardo da Vinci programme, to carry out a predoctoral stay in Lisbon for three months. As predoctoral researcher (2009-2015), I also had a three-month stay in Paris in the lab of Dr. Peter Van Endert (Necker hospital). My main scientific accomplishments during my thesis work were 5 papers, 2 as first author. I contributed to the elucidation of the functional interaction of the Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS)-associated ERAP1 polymorphism and HLA-B*27, specifically how ERAP1 polymorphisms shape the HLA-B* 27- bound peptidome by means of proteomic approach.
