Conducted research in the field of Intracellular Vesicular Transport, more specifically tight junctions. Used computational methods to model the interactions between claudins in realistic environments. Competed with 50 other biomedical engineering students in a poster competition and achieved 6th place. Utilized the collected data which yielded approval of being published as a co-author in the scientific journal “Molecular Systems Design & Engineering” for the Royal Society of Chemistry.
