      Project: Mechanical Integrity Re-Launching (PRIM, for its acronyms in Spanish) - Pit Stop Chevron-Petropiar Upgrader (PDVSA – 220.000 BOD), Venezuela. Managed the thickness measurement of pressure vessels, pipelines, heat exchanger, and air chillers to determine corrosion risk levels implementing the Risk Based Inspection (RBI) technique with Meridium software (API 580), and consequently increase the reliability of each equipment. Calculated the required minimum thickness and residual life under ASME B31.3 or B31.4 standard as appropriate. Tracked the intervention activities and repaired static equipment (heat exchangers, piping, PSV valves, air-chillers, and boilers) in a programmed plant shutdown. Inspected and released hydrostatic testing of heat exchangers and air-chillers; also, inspected weld joints by Non Destructive Testing (NDT-Liquid Penetrant).- Enhanced static equipment performance after the programmed plant shutdown.
