Some of my duties as SysAdmin: DataCenter management with over 20 servers and 10 networking devices. I've been managing the datacenter for almost 2 years, doing repairs, implementing new features and studying possible improvements, from the lowest hardware level to cloud computing technologies. Keeping the documentation updated has been also a vital part of the job. Personal Equipment management: taking care of more than 25 desktop PC's and 20 laptops, with a variety of brands and OS. Constant following of the state of the equipment and support to collegues requests has been a vital part of the job, as the coordination with Administration department in order to keep inventory of the current equipment, among some proposals por new hardware purchase adjusted to the needs of the company. As a DevOps: Ensuring that the Agile methodology is applied correctly from developing to testing phase, also giving support on pre-production and production phase. Giving feedback and suggestions to PM's and developers about new software deployments has been also one of my main responsibilities, being as fundamental as searching for possible issues and incompatibilities across the developing phases. I've been maintaining, updating and deploying software that suits the company needs and can offer any kind of help to the work flow. As a developing company, new technologies has been on constant testing, giving me the opportunity to try a great variety of technologies, amplifying my knowledge on IT solutions. Coordinating with a foreign DevOps team, dividing and prioritizing tasks using Jira as the main ticketing software. Teamwork was one of the most profitable experiences in the company, allowing me to learn more from my colleagues and understanding how to work as a DevOps team, improving job performance. Show less
