Gaston J. Laterza
Alejandro was a Senior Data Scientist when I joined the company, but he was involved in the end-to-end of data science projects, including machine learning engineering, deployment, and even some tableau dashboards to monitor model performance in the context of business metrics. He's very well rounded both in hard and soft skills, handles both Python and SQL, delivers very usable dashboards, and keeps excellent communication and relations with end users and project stakeholders. He was very well regarded in every team. I also had him as visiting specialist in my class Data Science for Business, for the MBA at the Universidad de Palermo. He is a very good instructor, knows how to use learning aids, has command on the subtleties of how to use voice and intonation, and handles questions, examples, and exercises very well. Alejandro is a great professional, with varied skills and deep understanding on how to deliver value with machine learning. For more, you can contact me at glaterza@gmail.com or glater@palermo.edu

I joined this new data team as a data scientist helping to build part of the bases of what the team is using now, working closely with other teams as the engineering and the analysts team. In addition, as we were a new team, we had to define how to work with the different teams, how to manage the communication, and how to add the biggest value possible to the company. Some of the projects I worked on are:- Being part of the educational journey for the company to understand data- Build part of the Data warehouse and the bases of the current data infrastructure- Analyze and investigate new tools we wanted to evaluate as Looker and the ML tools in GCP- Pricing optimization model- Creating and automating reports and dashboards to track the game performance Show less
