As an Independent Living Coordinator I have managed and assisted consumers to resolve Medicare, Medi-Cal, Social Security benefit issues, developed benefit planning & analysis, and provided information & referrals. I assist with affordable housing needs - search, deposit, and delinquent rent. I have provided subsidized, affordable housing leads, as well as assisted with Season of Sharing application submissions to obtain or maintain housing. I also have developed consumers' independent living plans to help them achieve their goals and exercise self-advocacy effectively. I have cultivated partnerships with community members through outreach events, with over 30 diverse organizations and federal and state agencies, to provide comprehensive resources for consumers and their families.

I am a fully certified Community Work Incentive Coordinator (CWIC) under Social Security's Ticket to Work Program.
