I worked with Alec on a very intensive product marketing project for Campbell Scientific. This was a week long case competition through the Huntsman Marketing Association, which we are both members of. We had one week to create a product marketing plan for Campbell's ClimaVUE50, a weather monitoring system. Several factors made this project difficult. First, we were completely new to the weather monitoring market and had to research and learn about it quickly. Second, we only had a week to complete around 10 deliverables in our group of 5 students. Deliverables included new brand positioning and brand platform, creating a landing page, a tradeshow plan, a digital advertising campaign, and various collateral deliverables such as flyers and infographics. I was impressed by how quickly Alec owned his part of the project, which was largely the digital ads campaign. He was new to digital advertising, but impressed us all by how quickly he learned and created effective ads and SEO for Campbell. He and the rest of us must have done pretty dang well, because we won 2nd place out of 7 teams. I'm glad to have connected with Alec and look forward to working with him in the future, and anyone else would be lucky to have Alec on their team. He works and learns hard and is a great team player.
