  As an admissions assistant, I have quite a few tasks in helping out the staff in the Admissions office. One of these tasks is to give tours to prospective students in order to show them everything offered on the campus of Culver-Stockton College. I also am tasked with data entry. Examples of data that I regular enter are applications, ACT and SAT scores, high school and college transcripts, and general college inquiries.   As the Prytanis, or president, of Tau Kappa Epsilon, I am in charge of the day to day operations of the chapter. I meet with the rest of the Executive Board of the fraternity in order to schedule meetings and discuss the ongoing business of the fraternity. I also run chapter meetings every Sunday, in which the chapter discusses and votes on business such as budgeting, future events, recruitment plans, and membership status. As the president of the fraternity, I communicate with my chapter and its Board of Advisors, the national offices of Tau Kappa Epsilon, alumni of the chapter, and the administration of Culver-Stockton College.   I worked as an intern for two radio stations owned by Townsquare Media in Quincy, Illinois from June 2017 to August 2017. During my time there, I mostly assisted with creating content that was shared through online methods, such as the radio station websites and their respective Facebook pages. I also gained experience writing copy for advertisers, and this work was produced and then put on the air. During the end of my internship, I was able to assist with the community outreach parts of the radio stations, as I helped out on location when the stations were broadcasting live from local county fairs. Finally, I was able to help out with marketing during the Bids for Bargains campaign that was run by the company. Show less



Tau Kappa Epsilon Zeta Pi Chapter

  I served as the Hegemon, or member educator, for my fraternity from January of 2015 to January of 2016. My role was to educate the whole chapter about chapter history and national details. I was also in charge of preparing a pledge class for initiation. This entailed education about TKE history, ensuring they had paid their necessary dues, and evaluating their progress as a member. At the end of my role as Hegemon, I prepared 12 men for initiation. I served as the Hegemon, or member educator, for my fraternity from January of 2015 to January of 2016.
