Intern

Aug 2015 - May 2016
Spent the 2015-2016 academic year with The Outdoor Lab Foundation as an educational intern. Located in the mountains of Colorado, Outdoor Lab at Windy Peak worked to provide an opportunity for 6th grade students in the Jefferson County School District to spend one week learning about the importance of nature and the outdoors with no distractions. Led classes on the Hydrosphere and lived in a cabin with students. Held direct responsibility over them, both in classes and outside, providing the opportunity to form meaningful relationships and act as a role model to a variety of students. Show less
