  I founded West Oakland Punks with Lunch in 2015 and oversaw the development and growth of the program. In 5 years, PWL has been implemented harm reduction programs including syringe access services and overdose prevention trainings, as well as coordinate community care villages, engaged in advocacy and built partnerships with community organizations.   I worked with youth experiencing homelessness in San Francisco. My expertise was in working with LGBTQ+, people who use drugs, people who were pregnant or had children, and people with mental health disorders to provide trauma informed case management and address their needs and work on their goals. I facilitated many groups and was able to attend a community advisory board on behalf of HYA to help create a training program for doctors on how they can best provide care for people who are pregnant and are using drugs and experiencing homelessness.
