I would like to write a recommendation for Alberto Pinilla, a man of strong intellect. I recruited and hired Alberto to help me establish a Latam practice for Verint Video Solutions. I had noticed that Alberto was more on top of the Andean Market than other commercial persons and that he was a very hard worker and had a large network of clients. He had been successful at Tyco to open many doors for Verint to enter the Andean Region. At Verint, Alberto did an exceptional job starting from a low base and then building a successful and profitable practice. Alberto was successful to win marquee projects such as The Colombia House of Congress and then Fiscalia 17 city urban security programs and PDVSA standardization. As time and technology progressed, I recruited Alberto to be the Regional Manager of Andean for Avigilon. At the time of building the Avigilon team, I was looking for competence, work ethic, knowledge of the technology and knowledge of the market, as well as general business professionalism. No one came close to Alberto by these measurement standards. Alberto has been very successful at Avigilon. We set somewhat challenging CAGR targets in excess of 100% and Alberto excelled in this challenging environment, making the President's Club on numerous occasions. He opened the Gaming Sector and produced excellent revenue streams from this sector and many commercial verticals while maintaining his traditional Government client base as well. He won many interesting projects for airports and stadiums throughout the region. I would highly recommend Alberto for a position such as a Director of a Sales Team, A Project or Program Manager of people, and a capable hand to help a new technology company enter the South America Markets.
