  • Annually responsible for negotiating competitive rates in accommodation centres and hotels by phone and/or in person. • Sourcing and negotiating competitive rates with local agents and suppliers. • Responsible for setting up options for accommodation, monitoring these deadlines and extending where necessary. • Paying deposits and any interim payments for accommodation, agents and suppliers. • Checking and paying final invoices from accommodation centres/hotels. • Responsible for organising Pre-Tour inspection visits. • Liaising with the clients in planning and organising itineraries for Music and Educational tours. • Sourcing and booking venues for the music tours. • Sending audition CD’s/tapes to potential venues. • Promoting and advertising all concerts locally via agents and local publications. • Producing posters advertising concerts and supplying these to agents, venues and tourist information centres. • Booking excursions as shown on the approved excursion list. • Arranging local transport for flight groups on arrival in resort, where necessary. • Organisation of internal educational trips (where relevant). • Carrying out and logging inspections of accommodation centres/hotel in accordance with SMS requirements. • Monitoring the quality of suppliers and agents according to SMS guidelines. • Reviewing feedback forms and taking remedial action where necessary • Reporting and logging any action taken to the Head of Operations. • Checking each excursion offered to a client is logged and confirmation of its public license is gained. • Diligence in complying with the requirements of the SMS, bringing any areas of concern to the Head of Operations • Any other duties commensurate to the post and development of the product and company.
