With the team we developed a hypersonic engine capable of traveling from Rome to Tokyo in two hours (https://polispace.it/fast-project/#).We have been capable of winning the ArianeGroup Price in the context of the Aerospace Student Challenge. The FAST Team also participated in the IAC Paris 2022 in which they presented the work in the “Hypersonic Air-breathing and Combined Cycle Propulsion, and Hypersonic Vehicle Symposium” with the paper: “Concept design of a combined cycle hydrolox engine for commercial suborbital spaceflight applications (https://iafastro.directory/iac/paper/id/70325/summary/). • Team Space Design ICE CREAM Mission
      • Nov 2020 - Oct 2021

In collaboration with Politecnico di Milano and PoliSpace, my team and I took part in the AIAA Space Team Design Competition. Two classmates of mine and I had the amazing opportunity of forming the team selecting, with the help of PoliSpace, other seven incredibly smart and hardworking students to collaborate with. The goal was to study the Phase-A of a Mars Sample Return mission aimed to bring back to Earth more than 1.5 kg of solid ice from the red planet. The judgement of the commission, even though had not put the project in the first three, defined it as “tremendously solid, comprehensive and well balanced”.I am deeply honored and proud to have the opportunity to work with all of them. The project would have never gained such importance without the help of all the team. Show less

We as Poli'sCrew competed in the Vertical Flight Society 37th annual student design competition, with the aim of creating an aircraft using as a propeller system the aeral screw made by Leonardo da Vinci 500 years ago. After a lot of hard work and time spent on the project, we positioned ourselves third in the international competition being the first team of undergraduate students reaching a relevant position in the history of @aerospacepolimi https://vtol.org/awards-and-contests/student-design-competition/past-student-design-winners Show less
