      My role is to plan, organize, and manage staff and Data Center operations to ensure the stable and secure operation of the IT infrastructure of the organization. Develop, maintenance, support, and optimization of the following areas: network and web infrastructure, server infrastructure, storage systems, databases, virtualization infrastructure, data and voice communications, internet and internal user’s support. My duties include the management of the IT Security, implementation and monitoring of the SGSI (ISO 27001), Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan, cybersecurity and defending against cyber attacks and fraud. I manage a team of four IT professionals. I plan and monitor the department budget, including investments and expenses (Capex & Opex). The infrastructure managed includes mission critical Unix systems (Solaris, Linux), Oracle, SQL Server and MySQL databases, applications servers (Weblogic), SAN storage systems (Pure Storage arrays, Brocade switches, Datadomain appliances), server virtualization (VMware vSphere, Citrix XenDesktop), Windows servers, security infrastructure (firewalls, WAF, antivirus), web infrastructure (web servers, DNS, mail, load balancers, connectivity), WANs, network and systems monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix). The applications are hosted both in a local CPD (on premises) as well as in the cloud (Amazon AWS, Google BigQuery, G-Suite, Imperva). I manage the IT Operations and ensure that the Production Systems run 7x24.
