Work in the design and preparation of antireflection coatings for millimeter wave lenses for use in the SPT-3G mission to be deployed in 2016. Worked on constructing mesh filters for reducing infrared loading on 50K optics in BICEP3 which is currently based at the South Pole. Deployed to the South Pole in December 2015-2016. Working on thermal analysis for the 50K and 4K stages of the BICEP 3 telescope as well as calibrating electronic readouts for telescope thermometry. Summer research program with Advanced LIGO. Worked on data quality for the Binary Black Hole Pipeline. Designed software to veto noise glitches present in the data, to improve detection thresholds for gravitational wave signals from binary black holes. Work also relevant to detector characterization for Advanced LIGO by illuminating the nature of glitch families in the detector for subsequent identification.
