      • Apr 2021 - Jul 2021

As part of my final master's thesis, I was involved together with 2 other international HR colleagues in a full-time consulting project on HR innovation. The challenge? To pioneer the transformation of their start-up into an innovative HR organization with the aim to improve & sustain their employee engagement, retention & meaningful work! Hence, we developed an innovative set of HR policies, which combined a new Employee Appreciation & Recognition Program as well as a long-time dreamed Employee Volunteering Program, all in line with their overall business strategy. HR initiatives that are as we speak in place for the first time in the company and I truly believe more companies should embrace! Show less

After graduating, I joined the Sales Team in the Global Summits Division at Marcus Evans Group, one of the world's leading business information & media companies worldwide, delivering more than 1,000 business events globally each year. And what a first professional journey... That taught me all about sales & the art of influencing people, so deeply & early in my career! My every day was about, connecting, pitching & engaging in strategic conversations with prospective C-Level Executives clients all over the world. Within weeks, I was able to sharpen my influencing & negotiation skills as well as to quickly develop a strong commercial awareness about an industry I previously knew nothing about. The result? Within the first months, before Covid-19 hit, I generated $50,000 in new business revenue for event summits in North America. Show less

Following my desire to explore the world and make a difference, I engaged in a Microfinance and Financial Inclusion Development Program in India, as part of an International University Placement. In collaboration with Symbiosis University and local NGOs such, Deep Griha Society, I developed a Financial Literacy Training program with the purpose to increase financial inclusion, micro-entrepreneurship and financial literacy rates across the rural areas nearby Pune and Mumbai. During the internship, I actively engaged in field visits and conducted interviews with village chiefs, MBA professors, local groups and firms. That was the most transformative part! Which led to me developed strong multicultural awareness and communication skills. In the end, I completed a final reflective research report named ´Microfinance as a development tool´ (overall grade 10/10). Show less
