During my Ph.D. I was 2 months at Heriot-Watt Unversity developing a new underwater laser scanner. There, along with my supervisor and another Ph.D. student, we developed an autonomous detection and grasping using the newly developed underwater laser system and an underwater robotic arm. • Eurathlon 2015 Challange
      • Sep 2015 - Sep 2015

Eurathlon 2015 was the first multi-domain robot competition. There the different teams from the different domains (sea, land, and air) had to collaborate to aid in a mockup of a catastrophe. I lead the team of the University of Girona which was a sea domain team. We won the first price in all the sea trials. In the multi-domain tasks, we also won the sea-land combination togeather with the Cobham team, as well as the Grand Challange (sea-air-land combination) togeather with Cobham and ISEP/INESC TEC teams. Moreover, the University of Girona won the special price for innovation in the sea domain and was finalist in the multi-robot coordination and autonomy. Show less

During my phD I was 4 month in the Graduate School of Oceanography under the supervision of Chris Roman. Here I had the opportunity of increasing my skills in both field experiments and bathymetry-based SLAM.
