  Hawa Akkar SAL was established in 2008 to promote Lebanon’s first utility scale wind farm of 60 MW. License and PPA expected to be signed by the Government of Lebanon in 2017, with commissioning expected in 2020 in line with government policy to have 12% renewable energy by that year.
