I had the pleasure of mentoring/teaching Albert during his participation in General Assembly's 12-week Software Engineering Immersive Program. Albert is by far one of the hardest working software engineers I've known. He demonstrates an impeccable work ethic by coming to work to practice his skills hours before he needs to be there and stays late to continue his practice after turning in deliverables for the day! Albert is an amazing teammate and demonstrates the qualities of a great leader by expressing a solid example to his peers. One of Albert's greatest strengths is that no matter how much he's accomplished, he maintains a level of humility that is simply unprecedented in this field. When it comes to code quality, Albert takes an extreme amount of pride in his work; Albert's work is his signature. I always enjoy reading Albert's code because not only does he strive to write clean and dry code, he documents his work as well. Albert belongs with a team that strives for excellence and doesn't see writing software as "just a job". In closing, I can say that with full confidence: Albert produces some of the finest work I've seen from someone with his amount of experience. He's a learns fast and strives to understand why we architect software with said conventions over how.
