Field Engineer
-
Jul 2011 - Mar 2015
As a Field Engineer, I was responsible for monitoring and maintaining the quality of a fracture treatment job. This includes proper calibration of chemical pumps and proppant screw rpms. Inventory of chemical volumes and water on our location along with proppant volume is crucial for a quality fracture treatment. Communication with the customer is key in obtaining what type of treatment they want and how it will be performed. Pump schedules and continuous calculations are necessary for the job to be a success. I also created jobs that include service types such as: cement, fracture, and acidizing. Multiple factors are considered when creating a job i.e. what the customer requires, well data, formation type, type of chemicals and proppant and etc. Skills of communication, multitasking, management, and problem solving are just a few skills that have been developed while serving as a Field Engineer.
