Master thesis conducted in the FRAM Center ( https://fram.gu.se/) within the Chilean case of study: Risk characterization of mixtures and their effects on freshwater communities along the Aconcagua River, Chile.-- Extensive sampling experience:i) Collect and preserve several biota samples for RNA and DNA extraction: bacteria from sediment, biofilm, macroinvertebrates and environmental DNA.ii) Collect and preserve water samples for pesticide and metal analysis using various methodologies: (i) grab surface water samples (ii) filter 50L in situ using large volume solid-phase extraction (LVSPE).-- DNA extraction of biological samples-- Good knowledge of big data management and analysis in R software:i) Risk assessment of single pesticides using the species sensitivity distribution approachii) Risk assessment of pesticide mixtures using two approaches: a) risk quotients based in Concentration Addition (CA) and b) multi-substance Potential Affected Fraction (ms-PAF) based in species sensitivity distributioniii) Univariate and multivariate community data analysis (e.g. Shannon index, SPEAR index, cluster, NMDS, RDA analysis etc)
