      Evaluation of the effect of overexpression of two mutated genes in pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor cell line. My role was to create the two new cell lines bearing the mutated genes. To obtain the genes I started from the creation of the plasmids trough bacterial transformation of E.coli. After that, I transfected the original cell line to obtain the two new ones. To verify the cell trasfection, RNA extraction and subsequent qPCR have been performed. Once the tow lines were stably transfectes, I developed a new protocol for their maintenance. I also worked with the other team members to help them in their duties: I maintained their cell lines, performed DNA, RNA and protein extractions and analyzed data with Excel, ImageJ and GraphPad.
