      • Dec 2013 - Feb 2014

Generally the main role was maintaining the up-keep of the house and camera runs during production. Most days consisted of collecting food shopping for housemates, checking all labels for correct weight and quantity and to make sure that an even amount of product placement had been set in the house. It was important to ensure that each night the accurate amount of alcohol was calculated in terms of units to make sure housemates do not exceed the set limit. Another daily task included conducting pool checks as well to make sure a safe amount of chlorine and PH was added for the housemates to swim in. Also involved in aiding the Task Team with preparation for Tasks, from pre-production this may have been picking up props/items; right through to placing the Tasks into the house when scheduled.

    • Reality Runner for Celebrity Big Brother

I was a Reality Runner on three consecutive series, and I assisted across all stages of Production. This is from chaperoning the housemates from the hotel to the house, sourcing all housemates’ needs and special requests to aiding all departments of crew in the gallery to office running. Reality running is the most diverse role on the production as you liaise with a variety of crew and talent. Big Brother Auditions February/March 2013 Weekend running on the Big Brother Auditions. Chaperoning potential talent across different stages of the auditions and assisting a Production Co-ordinator in announcing whether the group of people had made the next stage.

July 2012- July 2013 ‘TwentySixTwo’ Good Egg Media. I acted as a Production Manager on a ‘How-To’ scientific based documentary following a first time London Marathon Runner from first day of his training to the finish line. In the second year of the project, I pitched a documentary idea to Aaqil Ahmed, BBC Commissioning Editor - Religion, looking at the different reasons people choose to run the London Marathon. Through research I discovered that there was a lack of readily available information on this topic. I pitched, that through one man’s journey, we could investigate some of the many reasons someone would run the London marathon. Whilst filming his training process, his wife had been diagnosed with Sarcoma Cancer and was going through treatment and operations. The documentary captured why as a society we choose to push our bodies to their limits in the memory of loved ones, to raise awareness of charities or for personal achievement. What element of society pushes us to run 26 miles.
