• Designed, constructed and experimentally validated a flexible robotic surface for use in composites manufacture. This included starting a patent application alongside the Faculty of Engineering to protect the results of my research. • The prototype surface is capable of flexing into more than 9,000 shapes, including aerofoil profiles. • Manufactured a pneumatic tentacle quadruped robot for use by the BBC in a documentary series. • Designed, constructed and experimentally validated a flexible robotic surface for use in composites manufacture.
