2 weeks work experience in HR and recruitment departments. Duties included:➢ Organising CVs sent to the company into appropriate disciplines. However I was asked to recommend certain candidates for open positions in the company using a template sheet that gave a summary of the open position. As this was my second placement at the company in the human resources department I was able to gain a rapport with the head of recruitment and members of the human resources team. This in turn allowed me to be given more complex and important tasks, these included:➢ Confirming candidates’ references by working with recruitment agencies who provided the candidates to the company. ➢ Creating flow charts instructing expatriate employees on how to apply for a working visa in the UAE and who to contact, each nationality required a different template.
