  Initially engaged on a short-term contract, I was then requested to join company full-time to prototype several reporting projects in Excel prior to the redevelopment and reintegration into the in-house system. The initial contract required refactoring the existing model using a Windows HPC cluster on Amazon Elastic Cloud (EC2) to read and write data to and from a MySQL database. This included reworking business logic across business-critical Excel workbooks performing single-threaded calculations and calculations using HPC natively from Excel. In my full-time role, I championed automation across the business through leading multiple projects, including developing a document solution for the mortgage business using Word and Excel to simplify the generation of over 100 different templates.
