A market leading supplier of CAD/CAM systems, workshop equipment and furniture, providing high quality products with unrivalled levels of training and technical support.Role: Technical Support Manager / Installations CoordinatorMy primary day to day responsibilities are the management of the Technical Support team and the coordination of workshop equipment installations in schools, colleges and universities throughout the UK. Alongside this, I am involved in product development, manufacturing processes and quality control. I have regular input into sales and marketing strategies, and the ongoing improvement of customer service. In my role as Installations Coordinator I am involved in workplace Health & Safety and it is my responsibility to maintain policies and procedures, and to arrange safety training for employees. I am responsible for coaching new sales and support staff, and ensuring that personal development objectives are met. I have extensive knowledge and experience with all the equipment and products in TechSoft’s range. It has been my responsibility to generate training materials for equipment encompassing a wide range of workshop technologies, from dye-sublimation to CNC laser cutting. I am often required to exercise my design and manufacturing skills to create sales samples or to solve engineering challenges relating to product development.
