  I've worked at Blackwood Fire Ltd since 1986 and was one of the first to be employed by the founder of the company. I've worked my up through the cranks and gained an enormous amount of experience in providing fire protection to all sorts of businesses and organisations. The company was built on the principles of quality, reliability and professional and that is inbuilt into the culture of the company. In 2009 I had the opportunity, along with my fellow director/shareholder, Paul Davies, to buy the company when the founders decided to retire. It wasn't a difficult decision to make. I am proud to be given the opportunity to help run and manage a company that I've been involved with all my working life. We have fantastic staff and are part of a great item. I am also very proud of the reputation that we have built up within the fire industry and of the standards we set for ourselves. There is no place in the fire industry for sub-standard services or equipment. Our goal is to provide quality products and services at a competitive price to our customers whilst providing secure, long term employment for our staff, within a friendly working environment.
