I had the pleasure of working alongside with Alanna Mitchell in her role of Site Director and Eligibility Manager at the Early Learning Resource Center Region 18. Alanna’s organizational and problem solving skills are superb. During the most stressful times of the pandemic Alanna was able to rally her team, analyses the problem and come up with viable solutions. No matter how stressed the environment became she kept her focused, while displaying compassion for all. She is an incredible Manager, Director and Communicator!

I have had the pleasure of working with Alanna as a one of her direct reports, as consultant on my team, and in various projects. What I have learned is that she is diligent, action-oriented, and committed. While she was head of stakeholder relations for a large nonprofit, she was able to provide layers of insight and direction for my time a development leader. Later when I led development for a region of schools she was right there to work as a consultant to strategize event activation, develop our annual report, and interviewing more than 20 community members to ensure the voices in our narrative were comprehensive. There has never been a time that I haven’t seen her willing to jump in and inspire through her actions, not her words. If you have an opportunity to share community with Alanna you are most certainly in fantastic company.
