  When non technical people ask what I do for a living, I say I work in I.T. and I fix things. Oh how I wish it was that simple. When I started with Advizex (formerly Rolta then Rolta|Advizex) in 2013 I was hired to be the SharePoint guy. I jumped right in to support several clients with SharePoint design, implementation and migrations. But the real fun was the development of the SharePoint managed services offering. Wow, what an experience that was! I was lead on the creation of all sales collateral, pricing, monitoring tools and service catalog. I may be biased, but I think we have a pretty successful SharePoint managed service practice. The other part of my job is to be the Service Delivery Manager for multiple clients. In this role I play the part of lead technician, client relationship manager and project manager. I fulfill the SDM role not only for our SharePoint clients, but also for other technologies as needed across our managed services team. Here is a subset of those technologies: - SharePoint 2007/2010/2013/2016/2019/SPOnline - Windows Administration - VMWare and HyperV Virtualization - Active Directory - Exchange - M365 - Azure - PowerShell scripting and automation - SQL - Windows Virtual Desktop - Citrix I look forward to adding more technologies to this list and facing whatever challenges are thrown my way.
