The 3 years I've been working for Alan are some of the most impactful in my professional career. Alan fosters an environment of empowerment, where failure is never viewed as fatal, and I am always encouraged to take risks and learn. We continue to achieve a lot as a business and deliver as a team extraordinary growth I believe because of that philosophy. Alans business acumen, and stakeholder negotiation is something I always find impressive. He will when asked, always be available to explain the commercial reasoning on decisions and directions which I find very appreciative to be included and educated on, even when not specifically related to my role or task. He is always willing to be available to pass on whatever he knows to anyone in the company. Most of all, Alan’s a compassionate team leader who believes that investment and the empowerment of the businesses people lead to great success…. Which is what I have experienced working with him.

I have been fortunate to know Alan for over 15 years in a professional capacity and have always left feeling extremely impressed from our time together. Alan served as employee number one within Polyslab and was integral to its unbelievable success. Since then, I have worked with Alan in several capacities, but most recently as serving me as General Manager of BuildTuff. His exceptional vision, leadership and adaptive capacity has seen exceptional growth to BuildTuff, both domestically and abroad. Alan's constant diligence and appreciation for the business made him one of the best business leaders I have had the pleasure to work with.
