On my first day of work, Alan was the first person to reach out to me and offer his guidance as I got settled into my new job. He is incredibly knowledgable and takes the time to learn things that not only pertain to his own job, but to the bigger picture as well. This helps everyone around him do a better job because Alan is able to explain not only the "what" of a problem at hand, but the "why." On a personal level, Alan is friendly and warm; he's the type of person to always ask about your weekend or share anecdotes about his family - qualities that I find help to strengthen relationships with the people you work with. I will truly miss working with Alan, and I know that any company with which he works will be bettered by his skills, knowledge, and dedication to his job.
