My role as Allocations & Support Officer consists of two core functions. Through this role I have been able to improve and expand my knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 through determining what service requests relates to our team and what falls under our part of the legislation. Achievements: • Main Psychosocial point of contact for the Essendon Fields Office Main contact for all Coroners Court related matters – Decreasing my manager’s Workload • Adapting to the ever changing and unforeseen tasks dealing primarily with complex and highly sensitive information • Improved the quality of data in the workload management spreadsheet by streamlining and updating missing information – decreasing input of information, decreasing open service requests, identifying and quantifying trends e.g. Occupational Violence, work-related stress in the workplace • Reviewing Inspector’s TRIM Files to ensure they are meeting WorkSafe’s Standards and Compliance • Offered my services to the Health and Safety Representatives for the Essendon Fields Office • Asked to be part of the Essendon Fields Social Club administration team – increasing social activities: Joint effort in organising International Women’s Day Morning Tea and Helping Put on the Biggest Morning Tea Event (Essendon Fields) Show less
