Boston, Massachusetts, United States A friend of a friend introduced me to the Arthur W Wood Company. Arthur Wood was founded in 1899. It's the old 'New England Company'. It's the old 'New England Company'. Arthur Wood clears through Raymond James. Moors & Cabot changed clearing to RBC in December 2019. Although moving involves a good amount of form signing and paperwork, if I remained at Moors it seemed new paperwork would be required as well due to the change of clearing firms. I researched it out and to better serve my clients, I transitioned to Arthur Wood and their clearing firm, Raymond James. RJ had much superior technology in my opinion. In short, this has proven to be a great move - not only did about 99% of my clients transition with me - the transition was virtually effortless in terms of paperwork. In addition, through my first year here at Arthur Wood, I just about doubled my assets under management. The Raymond James platform has offered, in my opinion, the best technology I've ever encountered in over 30 years in this industry. That edge can make all the difference in the markets and offers great leverage to benefit investors I serve. Show less

    • Senior Vice President, Investments
      • May 2016 - Dec 2019

Boston, Ma. 02110 I transitioned to Moors and Cabot from RBC back in 2016. The offices here at 1 Federal Street, 19th floor are simply beautiful. M&C is one of the first members of the Boston Stock Exchange and one of the oldest members of the NYSE. The firm provides my office with top notch research, execution, technology, and ample operational support. One of the best firms I've been affiliated with in almost 30 years in the industry.
