As a Finance Manager, my tasks include the following: - Preparation of the group consolidated financial statements, EXCO Report & PMM report and Analyst. - Manage and lead financial team to ensure efficiency of day to day accounting functions comprising General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Asset, Inter-company transaction. - Plan & control the department operation to be complied with company & statutory bodies policies. - Responsible for accurate, timely monthly and year-end financial close. - Looking government grant for company fund necessary. - Maintain an efficient and effective work flow system and make recommendation to management where necessary. - Ensure the internal control & complied with the accounting standard. - Prepare Tax compliance works including submission of monthly GST return, annual income tax computation and company tax planning. - Liaise with company secretary, external auditor, tax agent, custom, LHDN, MIDA, Matrade, SME Corp, MIDF, MTDC, MITI, MDC & etc. - Liaise with local & China trademark agents to protect company interest - Prepared projection account (5 years) for IPO & PEMANDU project - Take on ad hoc task assigned by Management Key initiatives and achievements I have performed: • Completed mergers and acquisitions activities (Navis Capital Group), finance, tax & legal due diligent by PricewaterhouseCoopers and Wong & Partner. • Income tax exempted in The Income Tax (Exemption) (No. 17) Order 2005 – P.
