As a post-doctoral fellow I worked on multiple research projects, as well as assisted in management of a highly competitive and successful laboratory. One major project included developing and implementing a highly sensitive HPLC-fluorescence assay with post-column derivatization to measure plasma glycosaminoglycans in a clinical study (in collaboration with Glaxo-Smith Kline Pharm). Also non-compartmental PK analysis of glycosaminoglycan concentration time profiles. Another major project included the effects of oxycodone on drug metabolizing enzymes in Sprague-Dawley rats. Major enzyme systems included glutathione S-transferases, cytochrome P-450, P-glycoprotein and BCRP. Show less
