I was sent to school in 2015 when I first enlisted in the army for specialised explosive training. I have been to a Counter IED school which taught me proper ways to detain personnel and input them into a federal database. It taught me how to pay attention to detail. I am able to now watch for certain indicators of personnel to make an assumption that something could happen. I have gone through various life saving courses to help personnel that are wounded in action. Ie. CPR, stop bleeding, using tourniquets, how to label casualties, prepare them for airlifts. I currently supervise a team of soldiers, that consist of combat engineers and heavy equipment operators.I taught them how to conduct various operations, from excavating roads, creating airfields, building obstructions, conducting various military maneuvers including raids and detaining operations. I am responsible for the well being of the soldiers below me, training them properly and making sure they are always ready to be activated to go anywhere in the world. I supervise my soldiers by making sure they properly conduct maintenance on our vehicles and heavy equipment, keeping up to date on paperwork, making sure they are keeping their barracks well maintained and tidy by conducting health and welfare inspections. I ensure my soldiers are well informed and that they are following the armies rules and regulations, conducting monthly counseling reports on their performance, skills, duties and expectations. I have taught my soldiers how to properly shoot an m4 carbine, 249, 240B, and .50 caliber machine guns. I have conducted various missions with my team members that included raiding villages, and completing various objectives. I have helped plan tactical movements based on mission critical timing and safety concerns. In 2015 I was sent to Fort Irwin California for national training, there I conducted various missions including using demolitions to clear obstacles and raid villages. Show less

    • Security Officer/Supervisor
      • Jan 2015 - Jan 2018

I started working at this company the first day it opened, I was 18 years old working at a bar by myself, it was new years eve going into 2015. My boss called me 4 hours before the event started and I told her I’m on it. Ever since then she has put in a lot of trust in me. No matter what the situation was I was always able to learn on the go and adapt when had to make the necessary judgment calls for my job at hand. I have worked security for multiple venues and events. I was trained how to check Identification cards, use metal detectors, search personnel, bags, and confiscated contraband. In my experience with this company I had to remove people from establishments, break up fights, and make calls to the authorities. I supervised a team of guards at establishments to include festivals, bars, government events, and private events. I worked side by side with local law enforcement at concerts, and sporting events. In my roll of supervisor I was able to hire people when needed more help and able to let people go that did not perform their duties. My boss put a lot of trust in me, even when I left for the army she still kept me on, and from Colorado I was able to hire personnel for certain events by doing online video meetings, and when I went home on leave I would work to help her company and grow it. To this day she calls me for help and I will provide it when I can. Show less

My first night working this job was a completely new experience for me, my boss Dave put me on the front door of an Eagles benefit concert, I was new to the security field but quickly learned and caught up to speed on what was required of me to do. With this company I was able to learn a lot and move up fast and was able to have a team of my own that worked private events, bars, and festivals. At 18 years old I was in charge of a team of guards at the Yard house in Boston, we worked long hours through the sports seasons by working these shifts I proved myself and my team to our boss. Within a couple of months he was always calling me for jobs he had picked up. For example he called me around 830pm on thanksgiving in 2014 for a job at 4am on black friday to be somewhere 2 hours away from me. I told him I am on it and after a couple of hours of making calls I was able to get someone to be there with me. With this He told me that he was closing the doors on this company due to family matters but he said that I was the first person that he recommended to Jeanne at Boston Security Group. Show less
