Al owned one of the two SUSE Linux partners in the America’s at the time of Novell’s purchase of SUSE. I worked with him on the best way to engage the Open Source community and how to integrate Linux into our offerings. He has an impressive Rolodex of business and technical decision makers which were always open to engaging with him opening many doors for me personally and growing the Linux business in our markets.
