The Association brings together professionals from all areas of the Australasian education law field to discuss relevant issues and network in a friendly and collegial forum. I was President of the NZ Chapter from 2008 until November 2013 and a Director of the Australasian governing body during that time as well. I was elected on to the Board of Directors again in September 2016 having remained on the NZ Chapter Committee in the interim. The Association brings together professionals from all areas of the Australasian education law field to discuss relevant issues and network in a friendly and collegial forum. The Employment Law Institute was founded in 1996 to promote and enhance professional standards of employment advocacy. Our members are experienced employment law practitioners (either Employment Advocates with appropriate qualifications, or are practising Barristers and Solicitors) who regularly represent clients before the Employment Court, the Employment Relations Authority or the MBIE Mediation Services.
