  Execute Import shipping transactions. Receive, prepare and process import documents. Make bookings for Export with Air & Sea companies and arrange for the clearance of cargo (export declaration). Correspond with overseas offices, factories, customs brokers, freight forwarders and ocean carriers. Review update of in-transit exception warning report. Keep sales, allocation, shipping points as well as top management aware of incoming merchandise through pre-alert notification system from ex-factory to warehouse receiving providing visibility for all intransit inventory. Review of factory contract terms in relation to production records, time of departure and documentation. Reconcile accuracy of (CF7501) entry. Examine incoming bills for payment approval. Maintained accessory costing by purchase order for assist application with entries ( added mmv ). Handled landed inventory cost analysis by entry, line item and location based on finalized receiving confirmation. Line Review pre-classification, comprehensive use of Harmonized Tariff System and codes. Involved with direct shipments throughout the world as well as export from USA to Canada including markets in South America. Responsible for Duty Drawback claims against goods exported Timely response to all Customs regulatory inquiries. Involved with CTPAT compliance throughout the supply chain. Ensure all factories comply with ISF requirements. Extensive use of MS office systems, qlikview, trade intelligence data bases. Scheduled and tracked ocean shipment from all shipping points. Handled inventory breakdown and allocation by vessel release point. Involved with various customs inquires regarding classification, valuation & origin. Working relationship with Production sourcing / planning departments. Daily contact with Customs Brokers, Truckers, 3PL warehouse facilities, allocation throughout the supply chain.
