Quality Assurance Intern
-
Aug 2016 - Dec 2016
The main task was to do technical investigations on deviated parts (visual or dimensional defects, standard procedure not followed, etc.) in order to find the root cause of a problems and suggest solutions to eliminate the defect or improve the process. The secondary tasks were short and medium term projects. An example of a short term project was to create documents used in investigations and for tracking parts. One of the medium term projects was an investigation relating to the late arrival of measuring gauges to inspection, in order to suggest a long term action plan to remedy the situation. I also gave a brief training session for the new interns. Show less
