I have been blessed to teach in the most diverse school in the state of Michigan, and the 10th most diverse school in the entire U.S.A (https://k12.niche.com/rankings/public-high-schools/most-diverse/). It has been in this school that I have learned to embrace diversity, teach diversity and understand the challenges of diversity. I currently teach Biology to Freshman (9th graders), but have also taught Health and Physical education at this school for the past 10-years, giving me the opportunity to see students in a regular classroom, as well as an athletic classroom.
