  Whilst working with Russell Sage Studio, Alan led a team of designers working across a range of high-end interior design projects, including bars, restaurants and hotels, both in the UK and internationally. Projects Alan has worked on have received glowing reviews from the Evening Standard, Harpers Bazaar and Wallpaper* Magazine. A number of projects have been nominated for awards, including Winner of the 2016 Luxury Boutique Hotel, Switzerland at the World Luxury Hotel Awards and Winner of Best All in One Venue at the Design My Night Awards 2016/17. Projects Alan has worked on frequently appear in the lists of top places to go in London. Other work in the hospitality sector has spanned a variety of formats including The Premium Club, a private member’s club in the 3 Arena (Dublin) for Live Nation, as well as a number of cafés, restaurant multiples and foodcourt concepts. Clients have included Live Nation, The 3 Arena Dublin and the Bord Gais Energy Theatre. Before specialising in hospitality, Alan has also previously undertaken retail design work for well-known brands such as Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger and Waterford Crystal.   Working as an Independent Design Consultant for a variety of commercial clients. Interior design consultancy, graphic design, branding and exhibition design for clients in the retail and hospitality sectors. Ape Design worked with The O2 Arena Dublin, Rocket Restaurants International, Paula Rowan Gloves, Counter Burger & the Bord Gais Energy Theatre on Interiors, branding & graphics projects. HOSPITALITY DESIGN - including bar design, nightclub interiors, restaurant design schemes, cafes, foodcourt & forecourt concepts. RETAIL DESIGN - including one-off shop design, retail multiples, franchises, and department stores. Projects included large scale fashion retail, shoe shops and menswear stores but also encompassed Pop-up shops, Kiosk Units & Exhibition Stands. My involvement in a project is typically from inception to completion and includes: Concept Design, 3D visuals, Sketches, Working & Technical Drawings, M&E Layouts, FF&E selection & procurement, Project Management. Specialties: Interior Architecture, specialising in hospitality, fashion retail, restaurants, bar and exhibition design.
