Quality Lead
-
Feb 2020 - Oct 2020
Quality Lead for the new and exciting Meat Free site in Hyde. Driving and improving quality standards in a challenging market. As Hyde was new to developing and producing meat free products there were many challenging aspects; manufacturing, engineering, food safety and food quality. As quality lead, my aim was to make the entire team more technically competent, which is difficult when several aspects of the process needed to improve. The Meat-Free products are some of the tastiest within the Kerry business. However, with new products there are several development issues. Through root cause analysis, I was able to identify and remove the leading customer complaint. Dropping our CPMU to an acceptable level. This role was the most challenging throughout my time in Kerry, but the most enjoyable. Working with a team from all functions, that all had the same goal. Show less
