  Among my responsibilities at Hope Valley College are: • I record and master student musical pieces, including solo and band performances for GCSE submission• I check, maintain , repair and account for all the musical equipment and instruments • I organise and maintain the recording studio and teaching spaces. including musical practice rooms, and the music store room.• I am responsible for packing and unpacking the college trailer for transportation of musical instruments and equipment to outside events, monitoring number and condition. • I create the vast majority of audio and instrument cables for the department, as required. • I take responsibility for preparing technical equipment for live sound events, including student performances and college dramatic productions.• I have recorded for professional musicians during weekend sessions.• I have enjoyed mentoring, advising and being supportive of students to build familiarity with musical instruments, as well as music production, recording software and technical skills for live events. • I teach small to medium groups of year 8/9's basic drumming skills. as well as helping with guitar and piano parts during band projects.• I am responsible for researching and ordering the majority of equipment and teaching resources. • I identify and arrange equipment for PAT testing.• I have experience of bar-coding equipment for Hope Valley College Asset Register• general classroom assistant
